About

Technology. The building’s interior design blends the roaring 1920s jazz clubs in common areas and modern smart technology in the residences.

Building on that foundation, we designed an identity that accomplishes the same - a modernized art-deco-themed visual language that conveys elegance and sophistication while still feeling fresh and contemporary.

Mission
We aimed to fuse the charm of the Art Deco era seamlessly with cutting-edge smart home tech from the 2000s, distinguishing it from the competition by marrying Great Gatsby aesthetics with the convenience of Alexa voice commands.

BRAND IDENTITY

1920s Art Deco Meets 2000s Smart Home Technology

The building’s art-deco-themed interior design inspired us to create a logo that is a modern spin on a classic style.

As the ‘gilded age’ implies, we anchored the design on gold and built a complimentary color palette by mixing in shades of brown that add the warmth of leather tones.

We built upon the lines from the art-deco-inspired logo and created unique patterns for folders, signage, and all printed materials.

Brooklyn’s first smart building features smart locks, shades, lights, speakers, and much more.

Data imply that today most renters use their smartphones when searching online. We leveraged a mobile-first approach to adapt to our target audience’s needs and preferences. Additionally, our marketing strategy included connecting the digital with the physical world with strategically placed QR codes that led potential renters to our sales funnel and to initiate their application.

By skillfully curating engaging content and crafting meaningful connections through community management, we grew an audience and elevated brand awareness for 115 Stanwix. We strengthened the brand’s online presence with a strong promise statement as “Brooklyn’s first smart building,” which resulted in tangible business benefits and an enhanced relationship with renters.

Boosting visibility through print & merchandise.

We significantly increased The Stanwix’s visibility in a distinctively designed reusable tote bag that embodies the brand’s identity. These fashionable and multifunctional bags created value for renters while presenting them with an eco-friendly promotion for 115 Stanwix.

A uniquely designed brochure that echoes the building’s offering was a great opportunity to educate renters on how smart technology works and what benefits it results in for them.
