We are seeking a Consulting Project Manager to support projects and client relationships for medical societies and healthcare associations. This role will manage project timelines, coordinate stakeholders, support leaders and committees, and ensure the successful delivery of consulting engagements.
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and client expectations are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for medical society and healthcare association clients, maintaining professional and responsive communication.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, agendas, meeting materials, status updates, and follow-up action items.
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure projects move forward efficiently.
- Support medical society board meetings, committee meetings, strategic planning sessions, webinars, and annual conferences.
- Prepare presentations, reports, executive summaries, and client-facing deliverables for physician leaders and association executives.
- Track project budgets, invoices, deadlines, and resource allocation across multiple engagements.
- Assist with membership initiatives, operational projects, governance support, and organizational planning efforts.
- Identify project risks or challenges and proactively develop solutions to keep projects on track.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional organization, communication, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of project management, consulting, or healthcare association experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with medical societies, nonprofits, or healthcare organizations preferred
